Dear CT-ACDA,

This month, I come to you with exciting and important news. In the January newsletter, the Executive Committee sent out the call for members to join the newly-created CT-ACDA Committee for Diversity and Equity Initiatives. This month, I am so pleased to introduce you to those who have volunteered for this committee (please see below!).

The DEI committee is creating a survey (to be sent to the full membership in the very near future), regarding issues of Diversity, Equity and Justice - in our workplaces, as well as in our organization.
When you receive this survey, please make every effort to fill it out and submit.
The information will help guide the Committee, as they advise the CT-ACDA Executive Board, in the creation of policy and programming.

The Executive Board is also in the process of creating and establishing an official Chair for Diversity and Equity Initiatives, which will become part of the CT-ACDA Executive Committee.

The establishment of this committee and the DEI chair is long-overdue, and I am proud and thrilled to see it in-process. The DEI Committee is still accepting members - Please reach out to Dale Griffa at  membership@ctacda.net  for details!

Please visit (and subscribe to!) our CT-ACDA Facebook and Instagram accounts!
This month we have many special posts of performances, projects, collaborations and inspiration from Connecticut and across the country.
