8:00-8:30 - Check-In
8:30-12:00 - Rehearsal

Once again, students will have the opportunity to participate in our Fall Conference.

This year, conference attendees can sponsor students in our Middle School Conference Choir, conducted by Lauren Pine or our High School Conference Choir, conducted by Dr. Edryn Coleman.

Is there an audition?
No! Directors will recommend and sponsor singers for each ensemble.

How many singers can directors sponsor?

In the Middle School/SAB choir, directors can sponsor...

  • Up to 4 Sopranos

  • Up to 4 Altos

  • Up to 5 Baritones

  • Any number of singers on the waitlist.

In the High School/SATB choir, directors can sponsor...

  • Up to 3 Sopranos

  • Up to 3 Altos

  • Up to 4 Tenors

  • Up to 4 Basses

  • Any number of singers on the waitlist.

Registering an equal number of students per voice part is encouraged but not required.

Can I sponsor singers for more than one ensemble?
Yes! For example, if you are a CT-ACDA member who teaches high school and middle school, you could sponsor singers in each ensemble.

What is the cost per singer?
$45. This price includes lunch. After you register your singers online, you’ll be directed to our payment site where you can pay in bulk by credit card or request an invoice.

What should singers wear?
Black on bottom (pants or below-knee skirt). Solid color top - any color! Black, comfortable shoes. Singers should spend the entire day in their concert attire.

What about lunch?
Lunch will be provided. You can indicate allergies or dietary restrictions on the registration choir form.

Do singers have to be enrolled in a K-12 school program?
No! Directors can sponsor private students, community youth choir members, church choir members… as long as they fit within the voice part and age range of each ensemble.

Will performers receive the music before the conference?
Yes. We hope to send copies to performers after registration closes. Any preparation is helpful!

Can families attend the Conference Choir Concert?
Yes. $5 tickets will be for sale at the door. We will also send a link to purchase concert tickets online.
