Presenter: Kaylin Spaulding
This session is aimed at collegiate level ACDA members. Topics include starting a new ACDA student chapter, recruitment strategies, fundraising ideas. Discussion questions stem around one main question, "How can collegiate level ACDA members service the bigger ACDA community and other communities around them?" Session will conclude with a round-table discussion regarding how CT ACDA can better serve the collegiate members.
Kaylin Spaulding is a junior Music Education student at Western Connecticut State University. Kaylin serves as the Student Activities Chair for the CT ACDA, the President of the WCSU chapter of ACDA, and as a Senator and the Student Philanthropy Chair for the WCSU Student Government. Kaylin interns with the St. Stephen's Church Choristers Program in Ridgefield, CT. She also teaches the O.H. Platt High School Marching Band in Meriden, CT as the Visual Head. Kaylin would like to thank her mentor, Dr. Cory Ganschow, for all her support.
